Dr. Christian Müller is a medical geneticist, licensed in both, Luxembourg and Germany. He founded and operates Genetic Care, Luxembourg’s first independent medical practice for genetic consultations and testing.

Dr. Müller earned his Medical degree at the University of Erlangen–Nuremberg (FAU), Germany - one of the top-ranked medical universities in Europe. He holds the academic degree Doctor of Medicine (Dr. med.) from his Alma Mater - based on peer-reviewed published research in the field of soft tissue tumors.

He started his residency training in medical genetics at the University Clinic RWTH Aachen (Institute for Human Genetics and Genomic Medicine), Germany, and completed his medical specialization at the Laboratoire National de Santé (LNS), where he was the first MD admitted for training in genetics in Luxembourg. Making him one of a handful of authorized medical geneticists in the country. He obtained his board certification in Germany (Ärztekammer Saarland).

Dr. Müller has delivered lectures and conducted seminars for medical students in the field of medical genetics at Aachen University and the University of Luxembourg.

He regularly presents his genetic research and findings at major scientific and professional international conferences.

He enjoys utilizing his medical expertise to provide clear, articulate, and well-researched opinions on genetic matters and takes a particularly strong interest in Neurogenetics. He aims to lead the way in integrating genetic insights into medical practice and thereby elevating the standard of patient care and optimizing outcomes within the healthcare landscape of Luxembourg.

Dr. Müller understands that living with a rare genetic condition or being a caregiver to someone affected can be challenging and complex. His goal is to help individuals in navigating the intricacies and uncertainties associated with these conditions by providing comprehensive information, empathy, and support.

Dr. Müller is a member of the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Humangenetik (GfH) and Berufsverband Deutscher Humangenetiker (BVDH).
